Engineering Leader | Delivery & People Management | Generative AI | PMP®

15+ years leading distributed India–US engineering teams in banking and financial services — now building GenAI systems that put deterministic guardrails around what a language model is allowed to decide.

About

Started as a Trainee Programmer at DSRC in 2010, working up to Senior Developer across web and desktop projects in C#, ASP.NET and WCF/WPF. Joined Wells Fargo International Solutions in 2015; now a Lead Software Engineer and Vice President, leading cross-functional teams as Alternate Technical Manager for enterprise applications, with end-to-end ownership of delivery, architecture, and production governance across distributed India–US Agile teams.

Led the 2021 collocation of MDT to India — the first EFT line-of-business application engineered and supported entirely from India — and has since driven the shift toward Generative AI in engineering operations: GENIE AI (~70% projected effort reduction across its reverse-logistics team) and an internal GenAI recommendation platform that saved roughly 11,000 engineering hours. Outside of that, builds independent, open-source versions of the same class of problems — the projects below are personal work, built on his own time with his own code, not Wells Fargo systems.

Currently based in Chennai and open to opportunities across Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Bangalore. After 16+ years in technology, I'm fully open to relocating for the right leadership, architecture, or engineering opportunity. At this stage of my career, the quality of the role, scope of ownership, engineering challenge, impact, and long-term growth matter more than geography. Sixteen years in, I'm still motivated by the next genuinely meaningful challenge — one where I can contribute at a broader level, build strong teams and systems, and continue growing as a technology leader.

Projects

Independent projects — designed, built and run outside of work, on personal infrastructure. No employer code or confidential systems.

SeekAndDestroy

LangGraph · Gemini / OpenAI / DeepSeek / Groq · .NET 8 · React · SQL Server · Qdrant

AI infrastructure-recommendation platform. An agent graph reasons over a system's infrastructure and proposes changes — sized, costed and justified — across a multi-provider LLM layer.

Design decision: the LLM never computes a number. A deterministic engine does the maths; a runtime drift-guard fails the run if the model alters a figure. A model can be right about what to recommend and still silently wrong about the number behind it — and a wrong number that looks confident is worse than no number at all. Separating “decide” from “calculate,” and enforcing that boundary at runtime, means a hallucinated figure can't reach the output.

GENIE · RLogistics

Generative AI · LLMs · Prompt Engineering · Python

Automates reverse-logistics coordinator operations for large enterprises — cutting the manual coordination workload by a significant margin. An independent take on the coordinator-automation problem, built separately from any employer system.

AutoCoder

Autonomous agent · CI/CD · Jira webhook

Takes a Jira ticket, runs it through an autonomous coding agent, builds, tests, and opens a pull request.

Design decision: the agent only touches an explicit allow-list of repos — today that's SimpleApp, its lab test target. This portfolio lives in a separate, non-allow-listed repo.

SimpleApp

CRUD · test target

A small CRUD application used as AutoCoder's test target — the app AutoCoder actually opens pull requests against.

On the “on demand” demos: live demos run on infrastructure I start on demand rather than paying to idle it 24×7. Email me and I'll bring it up — screen recordings of each app are coming soon as a faster alternative.

Experience

Lead Software Engineer · Vice President

Wells Fargo International Solutions, Chennai

Sep 2015 – Present

  • Leads cross-functional teams as Alternate Technical Manager for enterprise applications, mentoring engineers across other application teams — owning delivery, roadmaps, production governance, and business continuity.
  • Owns end-to-end delivery, technology roadmaps, capacity planning, risk management, and production governance for business-critical platforms across distributed India–US Agile teams; drives hiring, technical interviews, and workforce planning.
  • Led the first EFT line-of-business application collocation to India in 2021 for MDT, an enterprise reverse-logistics platform, owning solution architecture, technical roadmap, technical debt reduction, enterprise integrations, and end-to-end delivery.
  • Saved ~11,000 engineering hours (~$660K estimated) leading “Seek and Destroy,” a Generative AI recommendation platform for migration analysis and engineering decision support — from design to deployment.
  • Spearheaded GENIE AI, a GenAI-driven coordinator and admin automation for MDT, projected to cut operations effort by ~70% across its reverse-logistics team.
  • Delivered $250K+ in annual savings through automation, process-improvement, and application-modernization solutions — several self-initiated, some for business teams with no dedicated development support.
  • Drove cloud modernization — Azure public cloud, SQL MI, and OCP migrations across the MDT application and SCS components.
  • Architected secure enterprise integrations across APIs, middleware, ETL, and event-driven patterns using .NET, Azure, Kafka, OpenShift, SSIS, and APIGEE — including the ICMP–KEES integration for secure document upload/download between ServiceNow and internal systems.

Senior Developer

Data Software Research Company (DSRC), Chennai

Oct 2010 – Sep 2015

  • Progressed from Trainee Programmer to Senior Developer — delivering web and desktop projects with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and WCF/WPF, managing client interactions, mentoring junior developers, and conducting technical interviews for developer hiring.
